DESIGN

Expertly designing and analysing power systems to ensure efficiency, reliability, and compliance for electrical infrastructure.

System design

We develop bespoke electrical system designs to meet your project’s unique requirements. Our solutions ensure safe, efficient and compliant power infrastructure, providing a clear roadmap for implementation.

Power system analysis

Our in-depth power system analysis evaluates network performance, load flow, fault levels, and system stability. We identify potential risks and optimise your network for reliability, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Harmonics

We assess harmonic distortion in your electrical network to prevent power quality issues, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with industry standards, safeguarding equipment and infrastructure.

Pendulum Power Consultants

At Pendulum Power Consultants, we specialise in power system design, power system analysis, and harmonic studies – delivering customised electrical infrastructure solutions tailored to the needs of commercial, industrial and renewable energy sectors.

As trusted and NERS accreditated power consultants, our team of power system design engineers will provide strategic insight and engineering expertise across the full spectrum of electrical infrastructure projects. We work closely with power systems consultants, electrical engineering firms, and industrial energy professionals to ensure every solution is reliable, efficient, and fully compliant with regulatory standards.

We offer a comprehensive range of electrical power consultancy services, focusing on system safety, renewable energy integration, and power system design across low to high voltage levels including NERS-compliant works.

While we work at all voltage levels, our core strengths lie in 11kV, 33kV, and 132kV electrical system design. Our deep industry experience ensures each project meets the highest benchmarks for performance, cost-efficiency, and long-term operability.

Power System Design & Analysis

At the core of our offering is expert power system design, supporting the stability, functionality, and scalability of electrical networks.

Through detailed power system analysis, our team of power systems consultants identifies vulnerabilities, enhances grid reliability, and fine-tunes systems for maximum performance – particularly within renewable energy integration and transmission networks.

We also provide ENA G5/5 harmonic analysis (Stage 2 and Stage 3), delivering robust insights for industrial and renewable applications. This ensures optimal power quality, reduces the risk of operational issues, and maintains the integrity of supply across connected infrastructure.

Renewable Energy Integration & Compliance

As industry-leading power consultants, we help businesses navigate the challenges of power system and renewable energy compliance. Our services ensure that systems connect seamlessly to existing infrastructure while meeting all UK regulations.

We ensure compliance with:

ENA G5/4 & G5/5

Harmonic analysis & control in UK power systems.

ENA G99

Connection of generation equipment to distribution networks.

ENA P28

Management of voltage fluctuations and flicker.

ENA P29

Voltage Unbalance.

Arc Flash Analysis

Safety of personnel around switchgear and controls.

Protection Studies

Ensuring protection systems operate at peak efficiency and safety.

By adhering to these standards, we help clients meet sustainability targets while future-proofing energy assets for decades to come.

Bespoke Engineering Designs for Power Systems

Every project is different, and our power systems consultants deliver tailored engineering solutions based on specific technical, commercial, and environmental needs.

From electrical system planning and network upgrades to resilience and compliance optimisation, we work alongside industrial energy teams, electrical design consultants, and independent power consultants to design systems that improve reliability and reduce long-term costs at 11kV, 33kV, and 132kV.

Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement

PPC Ltd is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all areas of our business and supply chain. We operate solely within the UK, providing consultancy and technical services to the energy and power sector. Our supply chain includes specialist subcontractors, UK-based service providers and technical equipment suppliers.

We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and uphold this through:

Our Policies & Responsibilities

  • A formal Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy (HR-010)
  • Clear responsibilities for Directors and senior management
  • Annual policy review and company-wide communication
  • Integration with our ISO-aligned management systems

Supplier Due Diligence

We assess and monitor suppliers through our approval process, including checks on controls relating to modern slavery. Higher-risk suppliers—such as those outside the UK/EU—are subject to enhanced scrutiny. We will not work with any organisation involved in slavery or trafficking.

Training & Awareness

Employees receive induction awareness, access to our modern slavery policy, and ongoing updates. Additional training is provided for those involved in procurement and supplier management.

Risk Management

We monitor risks in our supply chain and found no evidence of modern slavery during this reporting period. We continue to improve our assessment processes and supply chain visibility.

Reporting Concerns

Employees can report concerns through management or our formal reporting procedures. All reports are investigated, and breaches follow disciplinary actions as defined in HR-010.

Continuous Improvement

In 2025 we will strengthen supplier assessments, expand training, and ensure this statement remains up to date and transparent.

This statement has been approved by the Director and is published in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
