POWER SYSTEMS ANALYSIS

Power System Analysis Experts

Delivering Grid Stability, Compliance & Performance Insights.

At Pendulum Power Consultants, we specialise in power system analysis, delivering data-driven insights to optimise electrical infrastructure performance. Our expertise spans low voltage to 132kV networks, with a primary focus on 11kV, 33kV, and 132kV systems. Using advanced tools like ETAP, we conduct detailed simulations and studies to assess grid stability, system reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Ensuring Stability, Reliability & Compliance

Our expert power systems engineers work closely with electrical consultants, industrial energy professionals, and power system consultants to develop bespoke engineering designs that align with industry regulations, including ENA G99, ENA P28, ENA P29, and ENA G5/5 harmonic analysis (Stage 2 and 3). Whether upgrading existing infrastructure or designing a new electrical network, our team ensures system safety, performance optimisation, and long-term sustainability.

Our power system consultants work closely with electrical engineering firms, industrial energy professionals, and renewable energy consultants to provide accurate and actionable analysis for grid-connected, industrial, and renewable energy projects. Whether performing fault level assessments, load flow studies, harmonic analysis, or protection coordination studies, our team ensures that your electrical system is optimised for efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

Comprehensive Power System Analysis Services

At Pendulum Power Consultants, we offer a full range of power system analysis solutions, including:

Leveraging ETAP for Power System Analysis

Our expertise in ETAP (Electrical Transient Analyzer Program) enables us to provide highly accurate power system modelling, analysis, and optimisation. By leveraging ETAP’s advanced capabilities, we deliver:

  • Real-time simulations to predict system behaviour under various conditions.
  • Precision-based fault analysis and load flow optimisation.
  • Automated relay coordination studies for enhanced protection system performance.
  • Dynamic stability modelling to mitigate risks and improve power system reliability.

With ETAP-driven insights, our clients benefit from data-backed decisions that enhance network resilience, efficiency, and compliance.

Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement

PPC Ltd is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all areas of our business and supply chain. We operate solely within the UK, providing consultancy and technical services to the energy and power sector. Our supply chain includes specialist subcontractors, UK-based service providers and technical equipment suppliers.

We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and uphold this through:

Our Policies & Responsibilities

  • A formal Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy (HR-010)
  • Clear responsibilities for Directors and senior management
  • Annual policy review and company-wide communication
  • Integration with our ISO-aligned management systems

Supplier Due Diligence

We assess and monitor suppliers through our approval process, including checks on controls relating to modern slavery. Higher-risk suppliers—such as those outside the UK/EU—are subject to enhanced scrutiny. We will not work with any organisation involved in slavery or trafficking.

Training & Awareness

Employees receive induction awareness, access to our modern slavery policy, and ongoing updates. Additional training is provided for those involved in procurement and supplier management.

Risk Management

We monitor risks in our supply chain and found no evidence of modern slavery during this reporting period. We continue to improve our assessment processes and supply chain visibility.

Reporting Concerns

Employees can report concerns through management or our formal reporting procedures. All reports are investigated, and breaches follow disciplinary actions as defined in HR-010.

Continuous Improvement

In 2025 we will strengthen supplier assessments, expand training, and ensure this statement remains up to date and transparent.
